Four point requirements for solid-state lighting for high-power lighting LED packaging

(1) modularization
A good lumen output superposition can be achieved through the interconnection of multiple light (or module) light (or module) to meet the requirements of high brightness lighting. Through modular technology, multiple point sources or LED modules can be combined in a random shape to meet the lighting requirements of different fields.
(two) maximizing the efficiency of the system
In order to improve the luminous efficiency of LED lamps, besides the need of proper LED power, efficient heat dissipation structure and process as well as optimization of inner / outer optical design must be adopted to improve the efficiency of the whole system.

LED light to enter the market, must have competitive advantages in cost (mainly refers to the initial installation cost), and encapsulated in the entire LED lamp production costs accounted for a large part, therefore, using new packaging structure and technology, improve the light efficiency / cost ratio, is the key to realize the commercialization of LED lamps.
(four) easy to replace and maintain
Because of the long life and low maintenance cost of the LED light source, high requirements for the packaging reliability of LED lamps and lanterns are put forward. It is required that the design of LED lamps and lanterns can be improved to meet the future requirements of LED chip packaging with higher efficiency, and the interchangeability of LED chips is better, so that lamps manufacturers can choose what chips to choose.
The source of LED lamps and lanterns can be made up of many distributed point light sources. Because the chip size is small, the lamps and lanterns which are packaged are light weight, exquisite structure, and can meet the needs of various shapes and different integration levels. The only disadvantage is that there is no ready-made design standard, but it provides a full imagination space for the design. In addition, the primary goal of LED lighting control is power supply. Because the general electric power supply is high voltage alternating current (220V, AC), and LED needs constant current or current limiting power, so we must use conversion circuit or embedded control circuit to achieve advanced calibration and closed-loop feedback control system. Besides, the use and control of solid state light source is mainly realized by intelligent control and management software through digital lighting control technology, thus establishing a new connection between users, information and light sources, and giving full play to the imagination of designers and consumers.
